Among these solvers, numerical comparisons have been made using CPUTIME as the parameter. The MATLAB solvers described in this study have been applied to obtain the global optimum values of Rosenbrock’s banana functions in multi-dimensions. Additionally, graphical analysis is provided for a visual illustration of the convergence of the optimal solution of Rosenbrock’s function.
Anup Kumar Thander, Dwaipayan Bhowmik Copyright (c) 2025 Anup Kumar Thander, Dwaipayan Bhowmik https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journals.bohrpub.com/index.php/bijscit/article/view/787 Wed, 12 Feb 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Road condition assessment: A framework for automatic detection of surface flaws https://journals.bohrpub.com/index.php/bijscit/article/view/798
Road abnormalities such as cracks, unevenness, potholes, and manholes are increasing the number of road disasters in today’s world, particularly in nations like India. Accidents and irreplaceable loss result from uneven and damaged roadways, as well as unneeded openings. The introduction of more Big Data sources through citizen recording devices has created a new foundation for public infrastructure management and control, as well as policy design. Roads that are maintained on a regular basis are less likely to be involved in accidents. However, manually inspecting road damage is costly, time-intensive, and requires a large amount of manpower. Automatically detecting and reporting the presence of potholes, manholes, and other anomalies such as cracks to the appropriate departments can aid in the recovery of road conditions. Detailed real-time performance object detection frameworks (YOLOv5 and RCNN) for detections of potholes are presented. The main objective of this manuscript is to propose a framework that utilizes machine learning and deep learning models for detecting surface flaws.
P. V. Siva Kumar Copyright (c) 2025 P. V. With its in-memory engine, it allows the fastest reading and writing of data, so if user data is being processed, then analytics and automation that are embedded can also be executed in real time. The single database with a unified database schema brings together finance, logistics, and asset management into one database, thus ensuring that the same data is used and that there is more efficiency in the operations. To ensure both security and compliance, the same basic infrastructure is used for encryption and role-based access control, with the operations being at different layers that not only protect the data but also support the fulfillment of regulations. As a result, companies are upgrading their old systems with SAP S/4HANA Cloud in order to save time in their operations and be able to comply with data protection requirements that are specific to the region and the industry.
Surendra Annanki Copyright (c) 2025 Surendra Annanki https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://journals.bohrpub.com/index.php/bijscit/article/view/953 Wed, 03 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Visualization of information technologies in the teaching of mathematics https://journals.bohrpub.com/index.php/bijscit/article/view/1007
The main purpose of educational tools in mathematics is to check the results with quality. There are many different tools that help students develop logical thinking through interactive activities. Mathematics education tools are created for innovative, interactive, and dynamic learning in various mathematical disciplines. The goal is to show the importance of applying information technologies (ITs) with the intention of realizing the principle of visualization. Data visualization is a key tool in online learning that helps students better understand complex ideas while providing teachers and administrators with insight into the educational process. It also makes it easier for teachers to monitor student progress and identify where additional information or support is needed. The use of visual elements in teaching can increase students’ interest and help them get involved in the learning process, which is the primary goal of teaching—to put the student in the center of the educational process. According to the theoretical and practical knowledge collected so far, it has been confirmed that the use of ITs in mathematics classes leads to the achievement of useful knowledge among students. Also, using visualization, it is possible to improve students’ arithmetic, algebraic, and geometric intuitions.
Dragan D. Obradovic, Nebojsa Denic, Dragisa V.
